Often, aircraft components must be tested at the different altitudes that they will experience in service. Proportion-Air offers several choices of electronic pressure regulators based on the speed at which the altitude chamber must respond.
The QB2 with volume booster can be used for high flow and rapid response requirements. The QPV and MPV can be used for low volume applications requiring very fine steps of resolution. The QB3 and QB4 models are also excellent at controlling vacuum levels and a providing stable repeatable response.
Three Altitude Vacuum Control Methods
- Direct control of vacuum level
- Vacuum Generator – using positive pressure to a Venturi
- Vacuum Breaker – using positive pressure to “break” the vacuum level
