SaveAir® Regulator for Compressed Air Systems

SaveAir® Regulator for Compressed Air Systems

$31.00$44.00

The SaveAir regulator is an independent membrane regulator that can be installed in every compressed air system. It supplies a constant, exact outlet pressure regardless of the input pressure. The pressure is factory-set and cannot be changed. SaveAir prevents “dynamic pressure waste.” This arises when the pressure and flow at the withdrawal point are unnecessarily higher than those specified by the manufacturer to achieve the desired function. “Dynamic pressure waste” is extremely costly, a waste of energy that may be found throughout industry.

Advantages

  • Prevents compressed air waste
  • Highly reliable
  • Tamper proof
  • No pressure gauge needed
  • Easy to mount in any compressed air system
  • Provides consistent pressure reduction
  • Saves Energy | Reduces Cost
  • Increases tool/system service life
  • Prevents Dynamic Pressure Waste

Limit Air Pressure to Tools and Workstations
The Problem
Many workers believe that cranking up the air pressure at their workstations and to their pneumatic tools will help them work faster and more efficiently. In reality, air pressure that is too high can damage the tools, cause them to malfunction or completely stop working. The increased pressure also increases the potential for injury, as well.

The Solution
Mounting a SaveAir in the air line to help regulate pressure going to the tools will help prevent potential damage to tools and employees. The SaveAir regulates the pressure going directly to the tool at the desired (and recommended) level. The SaveAir will limit air pressure to tools and is available in a variety of pre-set pressures ranging from 15 psig (1 bar) up to 120 psig (8 bar). These pre-set pressure ranges prevent the operator’s ability to adjust or increase the pressure, ensuring the tool is given the optimal working pressure that it was designed for.

Applications

  • Pneumatic supply lines
  • Automotive industry
  • Pneumatic power tools
  • Pump, flow stabilization
  • Workshop equipment

Prevent Dynamic Pressure Waste

By delivering a specific known pressure, the SaveAir® prevents “Dynamic Pressure Waste” that can arise when the pressure and flow are unnecessarily higher (than specified by the manufacturer) at the withdrawal point. Dynamic pressure waste is very costly and difficult to eliminate, but not with SaveAir! This miniature pressure regulator has the outlet pressure preset at the factory. This can be installed before an electronic pressure regulator to reduce P1 pressure, pick and place units in automatic assembly systems or it can be used in automation for actuation devices.
