Consistent vacuum control is most important in plastic thermoforming applications. The Proportion-Air RMV and QB2 vacuum control assembly provides high flow repeatable vacuum control throughout the process.
In this drawing, a QB2/RMV assembly is controlling vacuum in a plastic thermoforming application. Two QB3s assist with the ejection of the plastic once the process is complete.
The QB2 volume booster concept is what allows Proportion-Air to achieve tight vacuum control while producing high flow rates for various applications. The QB2 accepts feedback from a 2nd loop transducer and uses this signal to compare against the user supplied command.
