The PET (polyethylene terephthalate) forming process can take on many different shapes. However, one constant remains: accurate and repeatable pressure control is always required.
In this drawing, a QB2SS (stainless steel manifold) is used to provide the pilot signal to a customer’s specific high pressure regulator to pre-form PET plastic bottles. This process requires high pressure and high flow. We also added our DST high pressure transducer with second loop feedback which highly improves the accuracy and control.
