Liquid product can be dispensed by controlling head pressure in a closed pressure vessel. Whether it is a liquid, solder paste, or flux dispensing application, stable and repeatable pressure control will provide the most consistent dispensing results.

In this example a QPV1 is being used to precisely control air (or inert gas) pressure in the vessel. This type of control eliminates dispensing changes because of weight experienced in a gravity fed system.

The QPV employs a true proportional inlet valve that allows for extreme resolution (up to ±0.005% of full scale calibration). High resolution is important because it allows the dispensed material to be very finely manipulated.
