Ultra High Resolution electro-pneumatic closed-loop proportional pressure control valves. The QPV pressure control valve utilizes a variable orifice valve on the inlet side, which eliminates the digital steps of traditional ON/OFF solenoids: The field adjustable hysteresis potentiometer allows users to virtually eliminate the dead-band of the control circuit, resulting in superior system resolution. Ideal for very sensitive applications such as leak testing at low pressures, dispensing and microfluidics flow control.
The QPV-Series pressure control valve can provide resolutions (pressure steps) as high as ±0.005% of full scale calibration in single loop configuration. The QPV can be calibrated as low as 0-2 Inches of Water Column or any calibration from full vacuum to 150 PSI.

The QPV1 high resolution pressure controller employs two internal valves. A normally closed valve controls the exhaust and vacuum. A true proportional valve with variable orifice controls inlet pressure. The hysteresis of the inlet valve can be tuned out, in accordance with the parameters of each application to achieve a near zero dead-band.

QPV2 |High Resolution, Dual Loop
A high resolution, external sense and repeatable electro-pneumatic closed-loop proportional pressure control valve. The 2-loop version accepts a feedback from a wide range of external sensors. With external sense, the QPV2 can accept feedback from load cells, torque cells, pressure transducer, flow transducers, etc…without the need for additional PID tuning. Or, the QPV2 can be mounted on a volume booster with feedback from a Proportion-Air transducer to achieve higher flow rates with high resolution.
