A QB1X mounted on a liquid regulator is controlling the pressure of the die lube being sprayed in a die cast mold. This QB1 requires a separate air source to provide signal pressure to the dome of the liquid regulator. The Burling Valve BD series is an an excellent liquid regulator for die lube spray applications.
A QB2 mounted on a PSR is controlling the air pressure for the atomization portion of the application. The air is atomized with the die lube and sprayed onto the mold to provide lubrication and various coating materials.
