High Pressure Catheter Blow Molding
Angioplasty balloons are blow molded using high pressure. The GX1 is ideal for catheter blow molding because of its high repeatability and accuracy. The GX1 is a closed-loop electronic pressure regulator that can be calibrated to work pressure ranges as high as 0-1,000 PSI. It comes standard with an analog monitor output that can be taken back to the controller for data acquisition.
The GX-Series is a complete redesign of its predecessor, the GP-Series. With this redesign, many improvements were realized. The GX weighs less, has improved repeatability, and higher accuracy. The GX is also able to achieve flow rates up to 10 SCFM – at 1,000 PSI output.
