High Pressure Ratio Regulator

Many manufacturing processes require precise control of high pressures. It’s not difficult to find high pressure mechanical regulators, but it can be very difficult to find electronic controllers that can handle more than 1,000 PSI…and most are designed for much lower pressure. With Proportion-Air’s high pressure ratio regulator assemblies, pressures up to 7,500 PSI (and more) can be controlled with only shop air. That means we can use our standard electronic pressure regulators as pilots, controlling dome pressure to a high pressure ratio regulator.

45:1 High Pressure Ratio Regulator

QB2X Pilot Control Valve & RG1262 Volume Booster (Ratio Regulator) & DST Pressure Transducer

 

QB2X-RG1262-DST | 45:1 High Pressure Ratio Regulator

Most of our ratio regulating assemblies will employ the QB2X as an electronic pilot accepting direct feedback from our DST high pressure transducer. The RG1262 high pressure ratio regulator can control pressures from 0-5,000 PSI and has a 45 to 1 (dome pressure to outlet pressure) ratio. This means that 0-5,000 PSI can be electronically controlled with a QB2X calibrated 0-111 PSI (111 x 45 = 5,000), using only shop air.

    QB2X-PA3016AL-DST | 114:1 High Pressure Ratio Regulator

    Most of our ratio regulating assemblies will employ the QB2X as an electronic pilot accepting direct feedback from our DST high pressure transducer. The PA3016AL high pressure ratio regulator can control pressures from 0-10,000 PSI and has up to a 114 to 1 (dome pressure to outlet pressure) ratio. This means that 0-10,000 PSI can be electronically controlled with a QB2X calibrated 0-88 PSI (88 x 114 = 10,000), using only shop air.
