Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb issued a “stay-at-home” order for the state of Indiana, where Proportion-Air, Inc. is headquartered, beginning at midnight on Wednesday, March 25.

Proportion-Air is an essential business, as our products are integral components serving critical industries like food, medical equipment and transportation. We will remain open to serve the needs of our customers during this uncertain time.

Like many companies, we have been taking reasonable and prudent measures to limit the effects of COVID-19 on our business operations.

For the well-being of our employees and any visitors to our facility, we are following the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization and government entities at all levels: encouraging frequent hand washing, limiting physical contact, covering coughs and sneezes with an arm or tissue, sanitizing work stations frequently, etc. Any employees who show symptoms of the virus will be sent home. Travel is currently suspended.

At this time, Proportion-Air has not been notified of any delays related to the coronavirus, though we are experiencing longer lead times for new orders from our suppliers. We will continue to monitor the situation and notify affected customers should any adjustments to our supply chain be required.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we adapt to the limitations that the coronavirus has placed on the world.
