MOST INFLATABLE PIPE PLUGS OFFER ZERO PROTECTION AGAINST OVER-PRESSURE AND OVER-INFLATION OF THE PLUG.

Bags, bladders and the inflatable pipe plug are often used by plumbers, engineers, municipalities and anyone else that needs to block the flow of fluid through a sewer pipe (or any other pipe type), temporarily.

Using the inflatable pipe plug allows for rapid blocking of a pipe after a pipe breaks and/or when repairs need to be made.

When using inflatable bags to plug pipes of all sizes, compressed air is used to pressurize the plug to the appropriate size so that the fluid is held back.

If an inflatable pipe plug breaks or ruptures (as a result of over-pressure), property damage and loss of life is not only possible, but probable. Fortunately, this situation is easily avoided with the simple and cost effective ToolReg.

By installing a ToolReg on the inlet of the inflatable pipe plug, danger for personnel is reduced and property is protected.

The ToolReg is a miniature pressure regulator that controls the amount of pressure going into the bag (while pressurizing) by limiting any pressure over a pre-set (and tamper proof) pressure. For example, if 30 PSI is the maximum pressure for a specific pipe plug, ToolReg will only allow 30 PSI into the plug, so over-pressure is not possible.

ToolReg is available in multiple sizes, pre-set pressures and both male and female connections.
