In this process, a Proportion-Air QB1/PSR assembly is pressure spraying a liquid media to coat products or to inject one media into another media.

The amount of liquid being applied to the media is controlled by atomizing air (liquid/air) into a specific ratio. In this case, liquid media/process media ratio is critical. Atomizing air is changed to compensate for changes in process media flow, as detected by the flow meter in the process line.

The QBX pilots a PSR volume booster to achieve the higher flow rates that are needed for atomizing the liquid. This is a low accuracy setup (around 2-4%). If higher accuracy is needed, we will specify our QB2 volume booster concept.
