Pressure Control Press Rolls
Two Proportion-Air QB3s are controlling pressure to a cylinder which is providing force control on a press roll application. Pressure control press rolls require repeatable and stable pressure to maintain the desired force throughout the process.
In this process, each QB3 is controlling the pressure to press rolls via a bellows to squeeze water from wood pulp. This allows the operator to control the desired moisture content in the paper. The PS-4515 power supply has sufficient capacity to power both QB3 valves.
The QB3 offers flow rates up to 30 SCFM and pressure control from full vacuum to 150 PSI. Multiple command signal options are available for the QB3.
