Hyperbaric Chamber

A Hyperbaric chamber is used for oxygen therapy, which aids in the prevention or treatment of decompression sickness in divers and PTSD in veterans or anyone with a traumatic brain injury. The amount of pressure is precisely controlled on a schedule by the operator based on the each individual patient’s requirements.

The sketch shows an FQB3 & F-Series closed-loop flow controller – controlling the flow of air into the chamber and a QB2 mounted to the dome of a BD-series back pressure regulator that is maintaining the ideal pressure in the chamber. The analog monitor on both devices can be used for data acquisition to the controller to show the actual pressure or flow. An O2 sensor is also being used to measure the amount of oxygen in the chamber at all times.
