Industrial Glass Agitator
Industrial agitators are used in many industries such as chemical, food, glass, pharmaceutical and cosmetics. These machines are designed to promote a specific reaction by combining chemical substances. Often, glass beads are used to provide adequate agitation. The glass agitator can be used to combine many different chemicals.
In this sketch, an FQB2 flow controller accurately controls the flow of air to a tank of molten material to keep it agitated. The flow monitor senses flow and provides feedback to the FQB2 for closed-loop flow control. The FQB2 can control flows as high as 250 SCFM.
This flow control package is very fast to respond (<10ms) and produces repeatable flow control within ±0.25% of full scale.
