A tire dynamic balancing machine requires that the tire be filled rapidly to the test pressure and this pressure must be stable during the dynamic balancing test.
Proportion-Air’s proportional regulator is ideal for this type of application because of its repeatable high flow pressure capabilities. During the tire balancing test, the dual closed-loop electronic regulator is teamed up with 2-inch ported air piloted rapid exhaust capable volume booster for speed.
The QB2 and RM-Series volume booster assembly controls pressure while the tire is spinning clockwise or counterclockwise. The stable pressure that is provided to the tire is used to set the bead of the tire on the test rim and then to set test pressure.
This application requires speed, repeatability and stability while filling and exhausting pressure.
