DSB Industrial Pressure Transducer

The DSB industrial pressure transducer is the standard in our DS series. The device accurately measures the pressure of non-corrosive gases with an electrical output signal that is proportional to the full calibrated range. For example, a 0-100 PSI calibration with a 0-10 VDC output would read 5 VDC at 50 PSI.

  • Calibrate to any range between full vacuum and 175 PSI, as low as 0-2 inches of water column

Originally “DS” meant “down stream” to indicate a pressure transducer that is used to provide electronic feedback from the output pressure of a volume booster back to a QB2 dual-loop proportional control valve. The DSB is most often used this way, but it makes a great standalone transducer as well.

DSB | Industrial Pressure Transducer

The DSB is a compact and lightweight electronic pressure sensor with the ability to measure from full vacuum to 175 PSI. This transducer can be calibrated to any range in between and as low as 0-2 inches of water column for a full scale accuracy of ±0.2%. The DSB can be configured with flying leads to connect to any PLC analog card, or with a 3-pin connector to mate easily with a Proportion-Air electronic pilot (QB2X or QB2S) to improve accuracy, repeatability and eliminate hysteresis when controlling pressure with a 2-loop volume booster assembly.
