Being a technical focused manufacturing company, engineering is one of the critical departments for continued growth and success of the business. We are responsible for developing new products, supporting current products in production, testing new components and technologies, providing the occasional customer support, and more.

A typical day could range from working in the lab, testing products and components, repairing a piece of equipment, or supporting the production department on the factory floor. The nature of the work requires working with teams, interacting with many different people from various backgrounds and departments. The team is split between Indiana and Florida, so virtual interactions will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in developing hardware specifications
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Create product documentation and records
  • Design, develop, test, and debug analog and digital circuits
  • Analyze and troubleshoot analog circuits
  • Develop tools and techniques for testing and verification
  • Verify functionality and performance of products and components using lab equipment
  • Provide production support

Preferred Experience:

  • Designing and testing circuits for sensors and electromechanical actuators
  • 5+ years electronic circuit design and PCB layout is a plus
  • Design with EMI/EMC considerations in mind
  • Working knowledge of PADS software
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of pneumatics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)

  • Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to multitask and maintain a flowing pipeline of projects
  • Concentration to keep track of several design elements and technical characteristics when designing and developing electronic products and components
  • Initiative and drive to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment
  • Writing skills to develop technical publications, including design methods documents, product proposals, design documents, parts lists, operation manuals and maintenance manuals related to the equipment and products you create
  • Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies
  • Presentation skills for project proposals and running internal trainings on completed products
  • Willingness to ask for help when needed
