BGreenman headshotWhen asked for information on himself, Bryce Greenman used two sentences. Instead of editorializing them, we’ll let Bryce share a bit:

“Son of Bob and Dee Greenman, senior in Electric Engineering Technology. 4-year member of the All-American Marching Band, saxophone player in the Tower of Power tribute jazz band.”

That’s just part of who Greenman is: son, student, musician. The part he brings to the pneumatic lab team as project manager is familiarity with the subject matter.

“I chose this project because I have experience in proportional controls and signal processing, so I thought my experience would be well-used.” By knowing his strengths, Greenman is able to fit in the group and work alongside his other three team members looking to redesign curriculum for Purdue University.

As far as project goals go, Greenman isn’t just focusing on the technical side, also mentioning that he’s hoping to “get a great understanding of project design and management.” And instead of staying in his own understanding, Bryce wants to gain knowledge from outside of his field.

“The best part of the project so far was working in the test lab with Dan Cook and getting an understanding of how pneumatic components actually work,” Greenman wrote. A big part of what makes the team work, he said, has been through the support of his teammates and Proportion-Air. When asked specifics, Greenman mentioned that good communication has made all the difference.

But when it comes down to it, Greenman is simply striving for success—by not “not only meeting the requirements but also delivering a functional and good-looking product.”

Like the rest of his teammates, he’s determined to make that happen.
