Introducing Our New Benchtop Testing Device: The Proportion-Air Supply

Proportion-Air is expanding its expertise in proportional electro-pneumatic pressure and flow control into the testing equipment field with its newest product, the Proportion-Air Supply. This benchtop unit regulates compressed air and other gases within prescribed pressure and flow limits for easy use. Laboratory and manufacturing environments both benefit from its time- and space-saving features.

Perfect for developing, testing and diagnosing pneumatic equipment, the Proportion-Air Supply fits onto a work bench alongside tools like power supplies and oscilloscopes. Executing burst tests, creating flow curves and calibrating air-piloted regulators are just a few of the applications this demanding device can accomplish.

The compact, all-in-one unit replaces the need for separate regulators and flow gauges attached to needle valves, a common setup for pneumatic testing. Each device includes two channel options. One output channel is solely for pressure regulation, ideal for simple testing processes. A second channel regulates flow or pressure at the same time, similar to the way a variable DC power supply regulates voltage or current. Easy-to-read digital panel meters show the pressure or flow being achieved. LED lights indicate power and when the desired pressure or flow has reached its setpoint.

The Proportion-Air Supply works with shop air.

Standard pressure ranges are 0-50 psi or 0-100 psi. Channel 1 can deliver flow rates up to 16.2 SCFM at 50 psi and up to 28 SCFM at 100 psi. Channel 2 offers a flow testing capability of up to 10 SCFM.

In short: No more separate regulators and flow gauges, this compact unit does it all. And with easy-to-read digital panel meters and LED indicators, all the information you need is at a glance. Get ready for a whole new world of pneumatic testing!
