Pressure gauges and pressure transducers need multiple repeatable pressures applied to them during the calibration process. Proportion-Air’s electronically adjustable pressure regulators allows the operator to provide repeatable high pressure instrument calibration with ease, replacing manual regulators and valves that were not very repeatable.
In this sketch, a GX-Series electro-pneumatic pressure regulator, calibrated from 0-1000 PSI, is reducing the pressure in the bottle to specific controlled pressures required for verification and calibration of the gauge. The analog monitor output of the GX proportional regulator can be taken to a panel meter for digital display of pressure or to the PLC for simple data acquisition.
